this week at camp everyone picked partners and picked a famous scene. my partner, Amanda, and i chose the scene "popular" from wicked. hope, our teacher, helped us on Mon., Tues., and wed. improve our scenes. then on Friday a professional film-maker came on Thurs. and videotaped our scenes. then today, Friday, we edited them with him. I'm very pleased at the outcome of the video, and my experience. i had a great time, and i learned a lot about film-making and acting.
occasionally a special guest would come. one day a photographer came and took our pictures. another day a professional artist came and taught us how to do contour drawings. and on Thursday we walked to the music center and learned a little bit about recording music. then we walked to rite aid and got ice cream!!!
all in all, it was a blast! i had a great time, met new friends, learned a lot, and i will DEFINITELY be coming back next summer!!:)
